Our intent is to be informational, all-inclusive, and non-partisan. Nothing should be considered an endorsement of any candidate.

Rick Noriega served as a U.S. Army Colonel in Afghanistan, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in the Global War on Terrorism.

The 2008 Senate Elections pose the potential for GREAT LOSS in terms of the number of both Veterans and Combat Veterans serving in the U.S. Senate.

There are presently 29 Veterans, 8 of which are COMBAT Veterans, are in the Senate. THREE of these men are retiring: National Guard Veteran Larry Craig (ID), Korean War USMC Combat Veteran John Warner (VA), and Vietnam War Army Combat Veteran Chuck Hagel (NE). Senator John McCain's Presidential Bid may bring the net loss to FOUR veterans, THREE of whom numbered among the Senate's present 8 Combat Veterans.

A total of 35 Senate Seats are open in the 2008 Election, including seats currently held by TWELVE Veterans, THREE of whom are COMBAT VETERANS.
