Biography

Charlie Brown served for 26 years in the Air Force flying rescue helicopters in Vietnam, reconnaissance missions around the world, and working with intelligence collection assets in some of the world's most volatile hot spots -- including Iraq. Charlie's wife Jan was an Air Force nurse and his son is on active duty with the Air Force, having already completed four rotations in Iraq.

Following in the footsteps of his father who served in Vietnam, Duncan D. Hunter serves as a Marine Corps Captain and is a veteran of service in Afghanistan in support of the Global War on Terrorism.

Mike Lumpkin served 21 years as a Commander in the U.S. Navy including eight operational tours as a Navy SEAL on continents across the world. He was Deputy Commander of Joint Special Operations Task Forces during Operation Iraqi Freedom, managing over 2000 military and civilian personnel. He received over 40 commendations and awards during his service.

Bentley Rayburn is a Graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs and served on the planning staffs for Operation Just Cause and Operation Desert Storm. He is a Retired USAF Major General.

Mike Coffman served in the Army, Army Reserves and Marine Corps. As a USMC Infantry officer he saw combat in the first Gulf War and returned to active duty in 2005 to also serve in Iraq.

Adam Cote Adam Cote served as an enlisted Army soldier in Bosnia in 1997 and 1998. He was commissioned as an infantry officer in 2003 in the Maine Army National Guard. In 2004 and 2005, he served in Iraq as a platoon leader with Maine's 133rd Engineer Battalion and led over 100 convoys in Iraq and was in charge of many reconstruction efforts, including building schools and medical clinics.

As a journalist, Bill Cahir covered the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.He sought an age waiver to enlist in the United States Marine Corps and graduated from Parris Island at age 35. To date, Bill has completed two tours of duty in Iraq, serving in Ramadi and Fallujah (2004-2005) and again in Fallujah (2006-2007).

Doug Denneny served in the U.S. Navy for 22 years. He was a TOPGUN instructor and worked as a legislative liaison for the Joint Chiefs of Staff. While commanding a fighter squadron in Operation Iraqi Freedom, he was awarded The Distinguished Flying Cross with a "V" for valor.
