PARENT:

  • Will is the father of Darienne Breazeale, age 15, a sophomore at East Bladen High School in Elizabethtown.

Will Breazeale has had an interesting life to say the least. He was born to an unwed mother on June 24, 1968 in Charleston, SC. 20 days later, he was turned over to the Department of Social Services in Columbia, SC where he was adopted by Dr. William Breazeale, a now retired Francis Marion University Chemistry Professor from Mount Pleasant, SC and Madeleine Breazeale, a medical records clerk for Carolinas Hospital from Florence, SC.

Will grew up in a great and loving home provided by his adopted parents. He learned from his parents the value of a good education and the importance of hard work to apply that education. Will grew up with a brother, Grant Breazeale, now an Internal Medicine Physician in Cincinnati, OH and a Lieutenant Colonel in the Ohio National Guard. Will excelled in sports. He was chosen at age 12 for the Varsity Tennis Team at South Florence High School and later became the city champion at Cross Country running his senior year in high school with a time of 16 minutes and 48 seconds for 3.1 miles.

His now deceased grandparents, Monk and Ruby Breazeale, resided in Wrightsville Beach, NC throughout his childhood which brought Will to the 7th Congressional District of North Carolina at an early age. His father, Dr. William Breazeale, graduated from New Hanover High School and the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. He also delivered papers for the Wilmington Star on bicycle at an early age. “We used to travel from Florence to Wrightsville Beach down U.S. Hwy 76 through the gorgeous towns of Fair Bluff, Cerro Gordo, Whiteville, Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach. My grandfather was the Manager of the Trailways Bus Station for years in Wilmington,” Will recently said.

Will Breazeale will provide the “creative conservative” leadership for us and our families in this dangerous world. Will is ready to be our next Congressman!
