Jaime Pacheco was a 22-year old soldier from Hobbs, New Mexico and was one of the last Army Rangers killed in action in Vietnam.  He left behind a young widow and an 18-month old son.  He was killed after rushing into the scene of an ambush to throw nearly a dozen grenades to cover the withdrawal of the rest of his team.

Tribute Rendered by his friend, Doug Sterner.
