Iowa was once the home of prehistoric Indians. It was a part of the Wisconsin Territory prior to becoming a state. A visit to Iowa should include the Field of Dreams in Dyersville and the Amana Colonies. Our school is located in LeClaire, Iowa. It was a town built along the Mississippi. Many of the majestic older homes were built by the boat captains who lived in LeClaire. Just below the town of LeClaire were treacherous falls. For a short time, the Mississippi river flows east to west.
