EVOLUTION OF
THE MEDAL OF HONOR

The five ANIMATED GIFs below represent the changes in the Medal of Honor from its inception in 1862.  They are presented in two formats:

  • On a blue background

  • Transparant GIF format

Three of these GIFs display all the Medals of Honor from inception to present, two of these with cover pages.  To reduce size and speed load time, we have also included two GIFs that display ONLY the Medals in their development to the present.
