This passage from Leviticus 25:10 is inscribed on the LIBERTY BELL which rang to proclaim liberty throughout the United States until it cracked (for the 3rd time) in 1835.  The one-ton bell originally cast in Britain, did indeed proclaim LIBERTY when it rang on July 8, 1776 to celebrate the Declaration of Independence.
