Lieutenant Colonel Amasa Tracy was one of twenty soldiers who was awarded the Medal of Honor for personal valor in action against Confederate forces at Cedar Creek, Virginia, on October 19, 1865. Lieutenant Colonel Tracy took command of his brigade and valiantly led his men in the assault on the enemy's works. |
