Captain Henry Crocker was one of twenty soldiers who was awarded the Medal of Honor for personal valor in action against Confederate forces at Cedar Creek, Virginia, on October 19, 1865. Captain Crocker voluntarily led a charge which resulted in the capture of fourteen prisoners, though he himself was wounded in that action. |
