War Hero

Laura Uhrie, center, principal at Servant's Heart Academy, looks at the Medal of Honor worn by Master Sgt. William J. Crawford on Monday as her students watch.  Students and faculty were visiting the state Capitol for the Moment of Remembrance ceremony held in advance of Memorial Day.  Crawford, a Pueblo native, won the medal as a private fighting Germans in Italy in 1943.
