Airman 1st Class Jeremy Aaron Gardner is a hero to me because of his undying service to our country; both in war and in peacetime. His dedication, loyalty, and hard work toward this nation"s defense have made him stand out among his peers. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal in 2002.
