Thirty-two awards of the Distinguished Service Cross were upgraded to Medals of Honor.  The following thirty men were originally awarded the DSC, which was then upgraded to the Medal of Honor.  
(These are not included in our list of DSC recipients as the award is rescinded upon being upgraded.)

Two men earned the Distinguished Service Cross, then were awarded a SECOND for a later action which, in both cases, was upgraded to the Medal of Honor.  The DSC listing in our pages reflect ONLY the first award and NOT the DSC that was upgraded.
