A qualification badge awarded to personnel of the Coast Guard and Reserves who have qualified as EXPERT with the military service rifle or carbine.

Devices:
A Silver "E" device denotes EXPERT.
A Silver "S" device denotes SHARPSHOOTER.

A Bronze or Silver Carbine Device indicates qualification with the M-14 Rifle.
