Coast Guard Arctic Service Medal |
|
(Coast Guard) For participation in an expedition, operation or support of an operation in excess of 21 consecutive days in the Arctic. Authorized in 1976, the Coast Guard Arctic Service Medal is awarded to members of the Coast Guard sho have served aboard Coast Guard vessels or aircraft in the Arctic region or in support of Arctic region operations of 21 days duration.
