Korean Service Medal |
|
(All Services) For participation in operations for 30 consecutive days in the Korean area between 27 Jun 1950 and 27 Jul 1954. The Korean Service Medal is awarded to members of all branches of service who served for 30 days in the Korean theater of operations and is also awarded to certain ships in Korean waters, units engaged in aerial missions over Korea, and units in direct support of the Korean War effort.

A Silver Service Star is worn in lieu of 5
Bronze Service Stars. 
(Army/Air
Force) Bronze Arrowhead device denotes participation in parachute, glider or
amphibious landing or assault. 
(Navy) Marine
Corps Device denotes combat service with Marine Corps units.
