Armed Forces Service Medal |

(All Services) For members of the Armed Forces participating in peaceful U.S. operations, not in the face of foreign armed opposition or imminent hostile action after 1 June 1992, for which no other U.S. service medals are available. Service members involved in qualifying operations but who are awarded other service medals (Southwest Asia Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, etc.) are not elgible for the award. Secretary Perry has approved the award of the Armed Forces Service Medal to service men and women who:
