Where but in the United States can a poor immigrant through hard work and determination become one of the world's richest men. Where but in the United States could a back-woods boy born in a log cabin ascend to the highest seat of power. The AMERICA, LAND OF OPPORTUNITY exhibit is dedicated to the determination of those who refused to fail and rose above all obstacles. Their inspiring stories are presented here to eliminate any excuse for failure we may have. For each excuse any American may conjure up to excuse poor performance, this room will present the story of an American with similar situations that chose to rise above their problems and situations and succeed.
