The HERO lies in YOU!

Only in America can a backwoods boy with little education grow up to become President. Only here could a young orphan girl bounced from foster home to foster home as a child not only grow up to realize her dream of flying, but wind up flying faster and higher than any other woman alive. Only in America can a poor immigrant family, through hard work and determination, build an empire worth millions.

The second floor of the Hall of Heroes is built in the shape of the Medal of Honor presented to members of the Navy, Marines and Coast Guard. From the open center railing you can look down to the ground floor to get an aerial view of Washington, D.C. In addition to the theater/conference room and offices in the back, each of the five points of the star contains a very special room. These rooms include:

  • The American History Rooms (2)
  • Women Heroes of American History
  • Heroes of the Last Frontier
  • Land of Opportunity.....not excuses!

While it is important to be thankful for the many military heroes that have preserved our freedom, these rooms are here to remind us that not all of our heroes were military people. Our heroes come from all walks of life, every race and ethnic background, and from every age group. The fact is, the potential lies within every American to achieve and excel....to become a success and maybe even a hero to others. It is all these great men, women, boys and girls that have given us a rich history. When you are done touring here we know that you will have found ordinary people just like yourself who went on to achieve their dreams, thus giving you the hope and inspiration to achieve your own.
