1
Burial Locations by State Using an input box, you can specify any state and quickly generate a list of all recipients buried in that state. (See the example at the top of this page based upon a query for OREGON.") The list is arranged alphabetically by the city in which the recipient is buried and includes the name of the cemetery where the grave is located.
2
Recipients Buried in National Cemeteries (All) This option will provide a 29 page list of all Medal of Honor recipients buried in National cemeteries. The list is grouped by cemetery name, and alphabetized accordingly (Andersonville National, Arlington National, etc.) Within each cemetery listing, the recipients are listed alphabetically by last name. (Click on thumbnail at right for a larger view of Page 14 of this 29 page report.)
3
National Cemeteries By STATE In option 1 you printed a complete list of all recipients buried in a specified state. In this option when you specify a state, it only returns results on recipients buried in National cemeteries in the specified state.
4
Get a report for a Specific National Cemetery The final option you have available is to print a report for a specified National Cemetery. If you want a report on Fort Logan National Cemetery only, enter *Logan*. For a 16-page listing of Medal of Honor recipients buried at Arlington National Cemetery enter *Arlington*.
The TABLE option on the main switchboard may at first be intimidating. It is certainly the most advanced feature of the database. It is also the most powerful tool for advanced custom queries. Click on the TABLE button on the main switchboard to learn more about this feature.
