Greetings

It has been my honor to serve my country, the greatest country in the world, as an officer of Marines for 27 1/2 years.  The United States Marine Corps provided me a way of life full of challenges, tremendous responsibility and the opportunity to lead.  The rewards were the accomplishments of missions, tasks and the hard work, sweat and teamwork required to realize missions accomplishment.  To all Marines I have had the opportunity to lead I say, "Continue to march, stay in step.  Good Luck, God Speed, and Semper Fi."

Upon being decorated with the Medal of Honor, I joined yet another elite "Band of Brothers", true warriors and American Patriots from WWI, WWII and Korea.  Many of these Great Americans have passed on but believe me, they all had a most positive effect on my life.  I am but a caretaker of this most coveted medal and I wear it in honor of those great Marines and superb Corpsmen I had the opportunity to lead on the field of battle in December 1965.  Together as a team, we were successful and I'm most proud of each and every one of them.

To all who visit this web page, I encourage you to continue to support the great men and women who wear the uniform and serve in our Armed Forces.  They are prepared to go anywhere, at anytime, fight in the defense of freedom, win and come home.  they need our support, prayers and confidence in their ability to defend the freedoms those who have preceded them fought to win and maintain.  Freedom is not free and we all must realize there is a price.

Ya'll take care, take care of yourself and most importantly, take care of your fellow man.
