"The bitterest tears shed over graves are for words left unsaid and deeds left undone."

Harriett Beecher Stowe

Feature Site of the Month
Archive

Each month we select one site on the world wide web to feature as our site of the month.  This selection is made strictly on content.  Our feature sites are not required to link back to us as many of those common "web awards" are usually little more than a gimmick to entice reciprocal links.  The following sites have been chosen in past months as our feature site.  We encourage you to visit them.

Feature Site For July, 2001 - "Just a Little Walk in the Park" is a site created by a Vietnam Veteran with excellent material, photos, and a highly recommended page with straight answers for students wanting to learn more about the Vietnam War.

Feature Site For June, 2001 - The Army Center of Military History provides a rich resource for information, photos, military art, and much much more.

Feature Site For May, 2001 - A very well done site from the Government Printing Office, it has easy to follow and well written pages to teach young people (and older folks too) about our government, states, how a bill becomes law, and more.

Feature Site For April, 2001 - This site was posted to promote a new and exciting book on the attack at Pearl Harbor.  We were so impressed with the quality of this work, we had to feature it.

Feature Site For March, 2001 - Arlington Cemetery.com is a well designed, informative, unofficial site for Arlington Cemetery.  You can find ample information on most heroes buried there along with photos of their headstones.

Feature Site For February, 2001 - Stars & Stripes has been a friend of our Nation's men and women in uniform for decades.

Feature Site For January, 2001 - The Virtual Wall movingly reminds us of the sacrifices made by America's young men and women who served in Vietnam.  You can add special tributes to their well organized listing of those who gave all, as well as find information on other memorials around the Nation.

Feature Site For December, 2000 - Interactive pages allow you to post your personal information, join groups based upon military units, post messages, and more.

Feature Site For November, 2000 - Perhaps the largest, most visited site on the Internet, you can find news, post to their active bulletin boards, find your old unit and search for buddies, and more.

Feature Site For October, 2000 - Without a doubt, this is the single largest and best site available for information on individual states, state flags and symbols, history, facts, and more.  A great homework resource for students and a wonderful learning place for all ages.
